Obituary of Henry Herman Lambert

Please share a memory of Henry to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
The hearts of Henry Lambert’s family are shattered to announce his passing on his 75th birthday, October 30, 2021. Henry’s precision and impeccable timing leave family knowing that’s truly who he was, a man of punctuality. Henry showed a life-long love and dedication for his family and his presence is a tremendous loss. Henry was the second youngest of five siblings and was raised in Onoway. This is where he met his loving life partner, Lucy. Henry attended NAIT where he received his Automotive Mechanic Ticket with Onoway being the start of their 52 beautiful years together began. There was only one time in his life where he wasn’t on time, and that was on their first date. Henry had a valid excuse; he had lost his exhaust! Henry removed it and placed it in his trunk. Upon arrival to pick Lucy up, Lucy’s mother was wondering what in the world was hanging out of the back end. It wasn’t to long after they welcomed their only precious child Tammy. Their time spent together was worth every second, the trio were inseparable and did everything together. Henry was a devoted husband and father. He had the biggest heart, constantly there to lend a hand when needed, you could always count on Henry. He also took pride in every aspect of living. Being quite particular with the care and cleanliness of his tools, Henry regularly wiped down each one before putting them away. He found a genuine joy in wood working and took pleasure in making gifts for family and friends. Together Henry and Lucy made a loving home. He spent a lot of time beautifying their yard while paying close attention to detail. His personality and sense of humour will be remembered always. Especially along the trail outback with the Angels and Cock Patch. Henry’s life was a living example of his love for his family. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his dear wife and companion of 52 years, Lucy; his one and only devoted daughter; Tammy (Tad); grandchildren, Paige, and Aydan as well as by several extended family and many life-long friends. Henry’s family has requested that memorial donations in his name be made directly to Whitecourt Healthcare Centre, or Stars Air Ambulance by following www.stars.ca or to Stollery Children’s Hospital by following www.stollerykids.com. On behalf of the Henry Lambert family, they would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the hospital staff for taking good care of Henry. Henry always mentioned he was appreciative of the care he was given, and to their friends and family for their love and support during these difficult days.
