Joelle began her career in Funeral Service as an apprentice in Red Deer, Alberta and graduated from Canadian College of Funeral Service in 2011, acquiring her license with the Alberta Funeral Service Regulatory Board as a Funeral Director and Embalmer.

With a very strong desire to provide the most positive experience for families during one of their most difficult times, Joelle brings exceptional skill and expertise as a Funeral Director, Embalmer and Red Seal Hairstylist to Affinity Funeral Service. With a heart for serving families, Joelle’s genuine passion for guiding families through their journey of loss and grief sets the stage for the funeral service profession.

Joelle’s belief in giving back to the community has brought her to serve on the Board of Directors with Aim for Success, Drayton Valley Health Foundation, Cardium Region Victim Services and the Alberta Funeral Service Association. In addition, Joelle dedicated her time as an instructor of the Funeral Director Level 1 and Level 2 courses for Mount Royal University.

When not serving families or volunteering within her community, Joelle very much enjoys spending quality time with her family.

 Dwayne brings dedication and passion for the funeral service profession as well as a strong background of service to the partnership. With 25 years of pastoral work with the Baptist Church. He also served as a facilitator with the Family Violence Initiative, Dwayne is a former Auxiliary RCMP and RCMP Chaplain. Currently, he serves as the Chaplain for the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #269 in Drayton Valley.
