My condolences to the family! When I think of Darlene the first thought that comes to mind is when we had our chats, she always was so full of life. She was such a beautiful lady and always looked so good. The stories she would tell me about her ladies group. Oh how she made me laugh. I thought how fun it would be to spend one night with them all. Darlene would brag about being the oldest but still kept up with them all. In fact she commented once on being the oldest Seely. Haha! She was great lady with a beautiful heart. I will dearly miss our chats and her beautiful smile. Peace be with you!♥️

We are deeply saddened by Darlene’s passing. She was a significant source of laughter, and occasional mischief, to her Parker “kids” who loved every minute spent with her. Memories special to us included her delicious lemon pies that she would sneak to her two “Ken’s” after dark so as not to offend other ladies. And what fun we had learning floor curling in the park pavilion, as she impressed us with her patience and skill. Our favorite memory will always be of fishing with Lew and Darlene in north eastern Washington. We were on the river when a freak storm came blowing in, and we had to shelter near shore until it passed through. I was a bit anxious until Darlene revealed she couldn’t swim. Even though we were wearing life jackets, that certainly heightened our anxiety! During that same trip, she and I decided to walk into town one day to see what was there. There wasn’t much, so Darlene suggested we go into the only bar in town for a beer. When it came time to pay, we realized that neither of us had brought our wallets. So as only she might say, she offered to wash dishes in lieu of payment! The bartender was a good sport, and simply said he’d take care of it, and even offered us another. She thanked him and declined the offer saying we had to walk, and didn’t “drink and walk!” We did drive back later that day and paid for our drinks. There have been many special women in our lives, but Darlene will always be remembered among those at the top of the list. We send love and condolences to her family, and hope you are buoyed by these shared messages and memories of an incredible lady who will be missed by all who knew her. Fondly, Ken and Lorinda Beitz
