Obituary of Wyatt Dallas Benjamen Earl Trafiak

Wyatt Dallas Benjamen Earl Trafiak August 26, 2005 – April 10, 2023 It is with profound heartbreak and sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Wyatt Trafiak following a motor vehicle accident. Though his heart remained beating until life support was withdrawn at 3:50 p.m. on April 14, 2023, his passing was declared on April 10, 2023 at the tender age of 17 years. Like most other young men Wyatt’s age, he was always on the go and made friends easily. He was active with the 4H Beef Interclub and spent a lot of his time working out at the gym, skiing and skating. With strong athletic capabilities, Wyatt participated in hockey and rugby, and was quite talented with his flips on the trampoline and on skis. Amongst his many interests was his ability to play Minecraft and Apex with friends for hours on end and possessed a creative ability for making TicTok videos. From a young age, Wyatt was immersed in nature and grew to love the outdoors; fishing, hunting, dirt biking and camping were amongst his favorite ways to spend time with his brothers, family and friends. Wyatt was often seen around town cruising in the “blue bullet” and he very much appreciated the time he got to spend with his family and friends, whether he was chillin’ or partying – more than anything, he absolutely loved to tease, trick and make people laugh! Wyatt’s feisty energy and fun-loving presence will forever be missed. Wyatt will always be lovingly remembered by his father Dallas; mother, Natasha; brothers, Kody, Ryley, Garrett, Ross and Marshall; niece, Emree; grandparents, Barbara and Regent Lariviere and Dolores and Don Barrett, as well as by numerous aunts and uncles; many, many cousins and an incredible number of friends. Wyatt was predeceased by his grandfathers, Earl Trafiak and Benjamin Dyck. Viewing will be held at Affinity Funeral Service, 5001 45 Avenue, Drayton Valley on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the MacKenzie Conference Centre, 5737 45 Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. The Trafiak family would like to extend their greatest thanks to each and every person from the local Emergency Services for doing everything possible to help Wyatt - Police, Fire and EMS, STARS, the Doctors and staff at Stollery’s PICU, the multitude of family, friends and even strangers who offered their support and prayer during this most difficult time.
