Obituary of Harvey Ronald Volf

Harvey Ronald Volf June 3, 1957 – January 21, 2022 It is with tremendously broken hearts that we announce the passing of Harvey Volf on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Centennial Centre, Ponoka at the age of 64 years. Harvey was born at Birch River, Manitoba and made Drayton Valley his home. Harvey spent the majority of his years working in the oilfield. He worked hard to provide for his family. When he wasn’t working, Harvey loved fishing, golfing, being outdoors, collecting rocks and sitting by the fire having beers with his brother Ron; but more than any of his pastimes, his greatest love was his family. Harvey will forever be lovingly remembered by his wife, Barb; children, Cory, Missy (Casey), Kirstie (Riley) and Garett (Jessie); grandchildren, Jayden, Cruz, Carson, Rostyn, Briggs and Ryden. He will be sadly missed by his parents-in-law, Stan and Julie Yurkewich and brother-in-law, Ronnie (Becky “Hobbs”), numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Louise and Ronald. The Volf family wish to extend their gratitude to everyone who was such an integral part of Harvey’s life. He was a great man and loved by so, so many. There will never be another. Harvey’s life will be celebrated at a later date.
