Obituary of Terrance Sims

It is with great sorrow that we share the sudden passing of Terry Sims at the age of 63 years. Terry was an affectionate and caring man who loved hunting but mostly just being with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. Terry is survived by his wife, Elaine and his mother Lucille. He is the cherished father of four children, Andrea, Lisa, Ryan and Jay (Devona) and grandchildren, Seth, Lily, Hunter, and Cora-Lynn. He will be sadly missed by his siblings, Loretta (Leonard) Westlin, Brenda Sims, David Sims, and Kathy (Darcy) Wasylenchuk, as well as nieces, nephews and many friends. In addition, Terry will be missed by his faithful and devoted dog, Rico, who travelled everywhere with him. Terry was predeceased by his father, Trevor Sims and siblings, Raymond and Reginald Sims. Visitation will be held at Affinity Funeral Chapel on January 7, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Affinity Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Carnwood Cemetery. The family extends a special thank you to Drayton Valley Emergency Services for their prompt and efficient response.
