Obituary of Elizabeth Mueller

Elizabeth Mueller March 20, 1928 – December 17, 2021 Elizabeth died peacefully at the age of 93 years in Drayton Valley. She is survived by her two children, Mike (Grace) Mueller and Renate (Hubert) Morrison; her grandchildren, Jason Mueller, Erika Engen, Jade (Garry) Verheul and Madison Morrison, as well as her great grandchildren, Samantha, Logan, Kayla, and Haven. She was predeceased by her loving and loyal husband, Walter in 2008; her brother, Hans in 2019, and her parents, Louise and Leo. Elizabeth was born in Berlin, Germany. She lived a long life, surviving hardships in her younger years, but persevering to experience plenty of love, friendship, travels and adventures with Walter, who was the love of her life. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. The memories we have of her will never be forgotten. In honour of Elizabeth’s life, a private service will be held. We thank the staff at the Shangri - La Lodge for the love and care they gave to mom, as well as Drayton Valley Acute Care for the care and support that they gave to mom during her last days. In lieu of flowers, and in appreciation for the care provided, memorial donations in Elizabeth’s name can be made directly to Shangri-La Lodge or to Drayton Valley Health Foundation’s Greatest Need.
