Obituary of Raymond Baltesson

Raymond Baltesson August 12, 1931 – November 27, 2021 It is with immense heartache that we announce the passing of Raymond Baltesson at Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the age of 90 years. Ray was best known for his accepting nature, sense of humor and kindness. His memory was impeccable, and he always had stories or memories to share with family and friends. Many friendships were made through his love of curling, golfing, baseball, and his career at AGT/TELUS. Once he met you, you were a friend forever. Ray absolutely loved his family, and will be lovingly remembered by his children, Jan (Jerry), Bev (Randy) and Darrel (Tammy); grandchildren, Bradley, Dustin, Sarah (Jason) and Jesse (Jessica); great-grandchildren, Tatum, Colin, Nora and Calvin; brother, Jerry (John), as well as by many extended family and friends. Ray was predeceased by his wife, Joyce; parents, Harry and Adele; brothers, Gus and Hubert and sister, Evelyn. As a gesture of appreciation for the wonderful care provided by everyone in the Acute Care and Physio departments at Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre, memorial contributions to Drayton Valley Health Foundation’s Greatest Need would be gratefully accepted.
