Irene Tillie Spitzer
January 29, 1937 – December 13, 2021
It is with the deepest hearts that we announce the passing of Irene Tillie Spitzer at the age of 84 years.
Irene is loved and survived by her children Glenda (Ken) Wegner, Cyra (Bryan) Spitzer-Retzloff and Kenny Spitzer, grandchildren Melissa, Tegan (Steve), Nicholas (Michelle), Morgan, Chandler and Austin, great-grandchildren Jett, Hendrix and Grey, brother Phillip (Doris) Dietz, nieces and nephews Blaine (Ellie), Blanche (Lorne) Hewitt and Bernita (Charles) Muncy as well as God-child Brenda (Peter) Tomlinson.
Irene has now met the Lord and is rejoined with her husband Ken, parents Peter and Rosa Dietz and son-in-law Kenneth.
Irene’s family would like to express their deepest thank you to all the nurses and staff at Spruceview Manor and homecare staff for all their kindness and loving hearts through this difficult time.

Lord, please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mother’s arms
and tell her they’re from me.
Tell her that I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there’s an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
