Obituary of Ethel Mae Bell

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother Ethel Mae Bell at the Whitecourt Healthcare Centre at the age of 90 years. Ethel had a special place in her heart for every member of her family, they meant everything to her, as she did to them. Ethel loved spending time in the kitchen cooking and enjoyed crocheting. Bowling was also a great passion to Ethel. While attending a tournament in Calgary, Ethel won a trip to Vancouver. Her and her family were very proud of this accomplishment. A heart like hers will be missed for eternity. She will be lovingly remembered and missed dearly by her husband Phillip Bell; sons, Gordon (Lorna) Pacholka and Raymond (Sheila) Pacholka; grandchildren, Tyler, Amanda, Courtney (Dexter), Colton (Phoenix); great grandchildren, Sophia, Patrick, Alex, and Forrest; sister, Rosaline Pretto as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Ethel was predeceased by her mother Anne Marko and first husband Alex Pacholka along with their son Norman. As per Ethel’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. The family wish to extend their sincere appreciation to Spruce View Lodge staff along with residents as well as the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff at the Whitecourt Healthcare Centre.
