Obituary of Lacey Viccy Lane

The family of Lacey Viccy Lane are saddened to announce her passing at Whitecourt Healthcare Centre on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the age of 37 years. Lacey’s life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here. Lacey was loved and loved others, especially her children. Whatever they desired she would always present, whether they needed it or not. Some call it pampered, she called it loved. It was Brandon, who held an extra special place in her heart, he meant everything to her. Lacey came by giving quite naturally, her heart was bigger than words and her laugh was infectious. Lacey took joy in crafting and baking; she made the best pepperoni cheese sticks and decorated the most elaborate cakes. Lacey worked as a baker for 11 years before changing professions as a Medical Office Assistant, but baking was her first love. Her affection for people and genuine desire helping others will be remembered always. There was one place she always loved to be, that was anywhere with Doug. They enjoyed taking drives and spending quality time together. Lacey will forever be missed and remembered by her favourite guy and partner Doug Brill, children; Dylan, Brittany, and Brandon, and one grandson Jayden as well as by extended family and good friends. Lacey was predeceased by their daughter, Adrianna Zenny Brill, and parents Gerald and Zenovia Lane. A private celebration of Lacey’s life will be held at the Blue Ridge Community Hall with Interment taking place in the Spring of 2022. Lacey’s family wish to extend their genuine appreciation to Nurses and staff at the Whitecourt Healthcare Centre for their love and personal care Lacey had been given.
