It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Davis, on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at the age of 96 years. Dorothy’s passion in life was her family, and she leaves to mourn her passing, her sons: Evan (Linda) Davis and their family and Jim (Rita) Davis and their family.
Dorothy was a pioneer of Drayton Valley area with a passion for gardening, a genuine talent for painting and a love of animals, especially her pets. She revelled trips to the Kootenay Plains for camping and fishing.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Russell and her parents, Henry and Annie Giddings.
Cremation has taken place and private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
If friends and family so desire, donations can be made in Dorothy’s memory to Drayton Valley Health Services Foundation, Long Term Care, 4550 Madsen Ave. Drayton Valley, AB. T7A 1N8
