Obituary of Jenny Westlund

JENNY WESTLUND (Walters) November 5, 1940 – November 2, 2021 With hearts filled with sorrow, the family of Jenny Westlund announce her peaceful passing in Drayton Valley, Alberta, on November 2 at the age of 80 years. Jenny leaves to cherish her life and live out her legacy, her children Doug (Shirley) Westlund, Teresa (Kevin) Hultholm, Steven (Lori) Westlund; her grandchildren Chris (Jessica), Derrick (Tiffany), Haley (Dane), Kaylene (Andrew), Dustin, Kelsey (Seth), Trey and Cole along with great grandchildren, Aliyah, Jarron, Ryker, Mila, Lyric, Kala, Bodie, Walker, Kianna, Norah and Bohen. She will also be lovingly remembered her brother Jim Walters and her sister, Mary Glasel. Jenny was predeceased by Harvey, her Husband of 31 years; parents Julius and Pearl; her three sisters Louise, Ivy and Violet; three brothers, Norman, Billy and John; great grandson Elias and special niece, Cindy Jonzon. The family wants to express their deep appreciation to Drayton Valley Home Care for the years of exceptional care and compassion they showed to Jenny. A celebration of Jenny’s life will take place on Monday, November 15, at 1:00 at the MacKenzie Conference Centre, 5737 45 Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta. Following REP protocol, those attending must show prove of double vaccination or prove of a negative result from a rapid test administered within 72 hours prior to this service.
