Obituary of Perry Thomas Graham

Perry Thomas Graham March 2, 1965 – October 31, 2021 Perry Thomas Graham, aka “Gun”, a truck driver and lifelong resident of Drayton Valley Alberta, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2021, at the age of 56 years, surrounded by a family that loved him dearly. Perry is survived by his mother, Jean; wife, Shannon (nee Reimer); children, Kathryn (Chris), Orrin (Samantha), Shalane (Andrew), Danielle (Tristen); brothers, Darrel (Shelly), Scott (Ila); sisters, Sheri, Lana (Vince) and his grandkids, Bennett, Kerryn, Allan and mother-in-law, Karen Reimer. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephew. Perry was a great Uncle! Perry is predeceased by his father, Thomas Glen Graham; father-in-law, August Reimer and his 4-legged best friend, Ann. Perry was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan on March 2, 1965 to Glen and Jean Graham. He graduated Frank Maddock High School in 1982 and soon after he started his lifelong career working in the oil patch. Perry was an avid skier, he enjoyed hiking and backpacking in the Rockies and was an amateur mandolin player… JUST KIDDING! Perry was a devoted father and husband, he was “The Pirate of the Saskatchewan River” and an outstanding member of the Lamb's Trucking family where he trained many new drivers. Everyone that knew Perry, considered him a great friend and enjoyed spending time with him. We would like to give a huge thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Drayton Valley Hospital that took such good care of Perry. We will never forget what they did. Thank you from the Graham Family. A celebration of Perry’s life will take place Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Life Church, 5115 50 Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta. Following REP protocol, those attending must show proof of double vaccination or proof of a negative result from a rapid test administered within 72 hours prior to this service.
