Obituary of Erich Wagner

Erich Wagner April 14, 1938 – September 16, 2021 It is with sorrowful hearts that the family of Erich Wagner announce his passing at the University of Alberta Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta, on September 16, 2021, at the age of 83 years. Erich will be lovingly remembered by, his wife Phyllis; son James; sister Brigitte Bremer in Germany, along with his grandchildren Anton Wagner, Kenneth Wagner, Alaina Wagner, Brigitte McKenzie, Cheryl Iwanchuck and Timothy Iwanchuk. Erich will also be remembered by his great grandchildren, Eliana Wagner, Jason Wagner, Erich Wagner, Jacob Wagner, Rachel Wagner, Anton Wagner Jr, Mavis McKenzie and Alice McKenzie, along with his nephew Andreas Bremer and niece Barbara Bremer as well as other numerous nieces and nephews. Erich was predeceased by his parents, Anton and Johanna Wagner and son, Scott Wagner. The family will always remember Erich’s passion for horses and all things outdoors, but they will especially remember his devotion to his faith, his church and his family. A celebration of Erich’s life will take place on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, Drayton Valley.
