Betty Jean Caldwell- Fairbairn
March 11, 1948 – July 21, 2021
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Betty Jean Caldwell-Fairbairn at the Drayton valley Hospital, in Drayton Valley, Alberta, on Wednesday July 21, after a battle with Covid-19.
BJ, as she was called by her family, was a great lover of animals; she had many pets over her lifetime.
BJ is survived by her sisters Nancy Caldwell of Matapedia, Quebec, and Lynn Budd of Brampton, Ontario.
She was pre-deceased by her parents Robert “Ted” Caldwell and Freda Glidden Caldwell; brothers Bobby, Billy and Harry and sisters Gayle, Glenda, Julia, Helen, Fran, Laurie and Kathy.
The family sincerely thank Dr. Joel Giddey and staff at the Drayton Valley Hospital; Pastor Kenton Penner and the Affinity Funeral Home in Drayton Valley, Alberta, for their kindness and respect shown to BJ.
Funeral services will be held in Matapedia, Quebec in the summer of 2022.
