Obituary of Gary Weldon Cropley

Gary Weldon Cropley January 7, 1943 - May 8, 2021 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Gary Weldon Cropley announce his passing on Saturday, May 8 at the Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre. Gary was 78 years old, and throughout his life one of his greatest passions was farming and tending to his livestock. In his earlier years, Gary was very fond of hunting and just spending time outdoors. Left to remember these and other memories of Gary are his three children, Earl, Heath, and Wayne, along with Gary’s two grandchildren, Jerad and Breanne. Also left to celebrate his life are Gary’s sisters, Dayna Davidson and Linda Davidson as well as numerous extended family and friends. Gary was predeceased by his mother, Beatrice Cropley and sister Beth Holmgren. The family will hold a private celebration of Gary’s life at a later date.
