Obituary of Paul Lorne Freake

Paul Lorne Freake September 6, 1992 – April 25, 2021 It is with hearts filled with great sadness that the family of Paul Lorne Freake announce his sudden passing at the age of 28 years in Drayton Valley, Alberta, on April 25, 2021. He will always be loved and remembered by his children, Brooklyn, Grayson, Ethan and Payton; parents, Lorne and Jacqueline Freake; brothers Roy and Shawn and sister Colleen, along with his grand-parents, Jean Brown and Shirley Freake. Also left to cherish their memories of Paul are his aunts Diane (Wade), Marie (Randy)and Michelle; uncles Neil (Judy) and Dennis, as well as numerous cousins, extended family and friends. Paul was predeceased by his grandfathers, John Brown and Lloyd Freake. Special memories of Paul cherished by the family include his love for dirt-biking and quadding, combined with his love for camping and sitting around a campfire with family and friends. But beyond these passions, the family will always recall Paul’s love for his children, who held such a special place in his heart. A visitation for family and friends will take place on Wednesday, April 28 at Affinity Funeral Service Chapel, 5137 50 Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta, from the hours of 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. In keeping with Covid 19 restrictions, the maximum number of people allowed inside at any one time will be monitored to 20. A service in memory of Paul will take place at a later date amongst his family and friends in Fogo, Newfoundland.
