Alvenia Olynyk
December 8, 1936 – April 15, 2021
On April 15th, 2021 Alvenia Olynyk of Drayton Valley passed away at the age of 84 years.
Left to mourn her loss are her children Debbie Black of Drayton Valley, Daryl Black (Karen) of Drayton Valley, and Ron Olynyk (Darlene) of Edmonton.
She also leaves behind ten grandchildren: Rob, Andrew, Chris, Joe and Mike Shalapay; Kim Black; and Courtney, Kirstyn, Samantha and Colton Olynyk.
Alvenia was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) in 2008.
No formal service will be held at this time.
In gratitude for the care Alvenia received by all the staff at Drayton Valley Care Centre, in lieu of flowers the family would ask donations be made to the Palliative Care Project through the Drayton Valley Health Foundation, 4550 Madsen Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta T7A 1N8.
