Peggy Sue ,my mom, my best friend, my mentor . July 1, 2021 was life changing and the worst day for Clayton and I and our family . Sheena and Ben , Brookie and Alora and ,Savannah, Nick and Colton . There is a big hole in our mix here in Whitecourt mom, I am not sure how this is going to work now . We have been talking almost everyday and been taking care of each other for many many years. The one thing I do know in my heart is your grandson Brandon was with you in the end . He swooped you up in his arms and carried you to your journey to meet those who passed before you. This sudden passing has left us all very lost mom but somehow we will carry forward one day at a time . We love you forever miss you always … my tears are daily and my heart is heavy , feeling like it is going to explode . I pull my strength from you as you showed me with all that you endured in your lifetime you were a survivor of emotional and physical abuse . It takes a very strong woman to finally find the strength to walk away and put yourself first. You came to us broken when you made the decision to move to Whitecourt but over the years you rebuilt and found yourself again. You forgave in your heart but you stayed true and put yourself first . Many long conversations and tears I am grateful for and have had been able to be there to help you heal in your journey. There are no words that I can find that describe where I am at right now Some emotions are not good at this point but I will find. My way . I have shut out the white noise so that now I can help the girls, Clayton and my sons and your great grand babies heal and find peace . We have endured a lot of emotions over the last month . And will continue to have .these emotions but will find our was slowly . Hugs as always The extra donations of a charity of choice was donated in your honour to Wellspring Family Violence here in Whitecourt and I am going to continue a fund raiser in your name in the future , through the place you loved to work . K & C Graphics .

Sincere sympathies to Peggy's family. She was always so good to me when we worked together at the Correspondence School Cafeteria. Her cinnamon buns were definitely a favorite and the bread pudding made with them next day was delicious. In the years after we would usually see each other uptown and have a wonderful chat, preceded and followed by the big hugs and smiles. Fondly remembered.

Mom you and I have said goodbye and have been apart couple times in our lives...the first time was when you, dad and my siblings all moved to Zama and then again when you re-started your life in Whitecourt... I learned then how to be away from my family and to cherish the times we were all together.
I will miss and hold deep in my heart, all of the great candid chats and memories we had together. I will not say good bye this time Mom . I am saying "See you when we reconnect once again in the Spirit in the Sky!! "
Say Hi to "B" for us when he gives you his kiss on the top of your head and give him one of your huge, tight Hugs for us

Remember going to farm in camp creek with my friend Kim. Rule was you helped where help was needed and fun happened after chores. Fun there always was. I remember Kim Deb and I doing dishes and rocking out to golden oldies. Next thing you knew Peggy was rocking out with us. There was always fresh baked treats hugs and a loving kick in the butt if needed.
