Mary Zelenak (nee Lukach)
1926 – 2021
Mommy, our angel, got her wings on Monday, May 31, 2021, at the age of 95 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Linda, Marilyn and Sheila (Tommy). Also cherishing her memory are Mary’s six grandchildren, Darrel, Jody, Alan, Lucas, Paul and Johnna and her 5 great-grandchildren, Colby, Kayne, Ruby, Aurora and Mabel.
Mary was predeceased by her husband John; grandson Chris Redlinger; son-in-law John Mackenzie Jr.; her parents, Tony and Helena Lukach as well as her siblings, Anne, Mike, Elsie, Rose, Nick, Jean and Helena.
We are all visitors to this time, this place.
We are all just passing through.
Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love –
And then we return Home.
A private family viewing took place at the chapel of Affinity Funeral Service on Thursday evening, June 3, 2021. The celebration of Mary’s life and homegoing took place on Friday, June 4, 11:00 am, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, in Drayton Valley, Alberta.
Out of gratitude for the care their mom received at the Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre, the family would request, that in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Drayton Valley Health Services Foundation, 4550 Madsen Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta T7a 1N8.
