Obituary of Sarah Katy Desjarlais

Sarah Katy Desjarlais September 26, 1946 – May 28, 2021 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Sarah Katy Desjarlais at the age of 74 years. Sarah was a gentle soul that loved her family and friends dearly. Anyone who met her could say that she had such an honest and loving personality. If Sarah wasn’t sewing something for a family member, you could always find her out gardening, it was one of her many passions in life. She is survived by her siblings Lawrence Desjarlais, Muriel (Darrell) Price and Dorothy Desjarlais; son Tom; nieces and nephews George, Darlene, Dwayne, Deborah, Doreen, Eileen, Paul, Clarence, Gloria, Colleen, Julie and James; great-nephew Bryce as well as her fur baby Cody. She is predeceased by her soulmate Jim; parents Modeste and Elenore Pamatchakeuw; siblings Andrew Desjarlais, George Desjarlais, Jack Desjarlais, Jean Desjarlais, Lucy Desjarlais and Tommy Desjarlais; nieces Colleen and Rechene and nephew Colin. Visitation will be held at the Affinity Funeral Service Chapel with Father Benjamin Belgica offering prayers. Sarah’s family would like to express great appreciation to all the Doctors, Nurses and staff at the Mayerthorpe Healthcare Centre for all their care and compassion that was received.
