Obituary of Victor Lang

LANG, Victor On May 9, 2011 surrounded by his family, Mr. Victor Lang of Drayton Valley passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years. He is survived by one daughter, Vickie (Bob) Watson; two sons, John (Sonia) and Larry all of Drayton Valley; three granddaughters, Trina (Terry) Danis of Edmonton, Trisha (Scott) Boorman and their son, Nathan (Victor's first great grandson) of Spruce Grove, Melissa (Jonas) Westlin of Drayton Valley; one grandson, Corey (Colleen) Watson and their two children, Kalie and Kain of Sylvan Lake; brother, Julian (Janina) Lang of Edmonton; brother-in-law, John (Gwen) Melnyk of Drayton Valley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Victor was predeceased by his loving wife, Mary in 2008; parents, Franciszek and Barbara Lang as well as three brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be held from 7 till 9pm on Friday, May 13, 2011 at Tinant Funeral Chapel, 5001-45th Avenue in Drayton Valley with Funeral Services taking place on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 4708-50th Avenue in Drayton Valley with Reverend Christian Nwaigwe officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the charity of choice as expressions of sympathy.
