Obituary of Dallas Jane Berube

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Dallas Jane Berube on April 20, 2023 at the age of 51 years. Dallas’ true joy came from her three children, the love she had for them illuminated with the sparkle in her eyes. Dallas had a passion for the outdoors and adventure brought her ongoing contentment. Many great friendships and family memories were rooted in slow-pitch, golfing, and camping. She took pleasure in cooking developing the skill and understanding of what it took to create delicious quality cuisine. Dallas will always be remembered by her beautiful children, Shyla, Marco and Dakota; mother, Jane Sommer; father, Larry Armstrong; siblings, David (Louise) Carter, Shelly (Jim) Freake, Richard (Laura) Carter, Jackie (Sarah Shaw) Carter; special nieces and nephews, Courtney, Jordan, Alyssa, Jordan, Josh, Kyle, Mac, Myrina, Kayge, Sadie, Richelle and Dusty as well as extended family and friends. Dallas will be remembered fondly by her dearest friend Jeannie, who stuck by her through thick and thin. She is predeceased by her father Dave Carter and niece Ashley Forseille. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Skyview Alliance Church, Whitecourt, Alberta. To honour Dallas, memorial contributions can be made directly to Wellspring Family Resource & Crisis Centre, 5516 51 Avenue, Whitecourt, AB T7S 1A1.
