Obituary of Terry Michael Woytowich

Terry Michael Woytowich September 14, 1966 – April 22, 2023 It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Woytowich on Thursday, April 22, 2023 at the Drayton Valley Hospital, at the age of 56 years. There is comfort in knowing his battle with cancer is over and he is at rest. Terry’s legacy of inspiration and strength in the face of life’s storms will live on in Edelyn, his wife of 12 years, and his children, Joshua (Annabelle), Brianna (Derek), Ryan (Jacquelyn), and Nathan. Also left to reflect his character and spirit are his grandchildren, Althea, Abigail, Nixon, Rylen Townsend-Woytowich, Jaylyn and Jaxyn. Terry will also be forever remembered in the hearts of his siblings, John Turner (Jeannie), Bonita (Russ), Rhiannon (Cody) Martin and Stacey (Kerry) Martin, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Terry was predeceased by his son, Ethan, mother Gwen and uncle, George Martin. The family will always cherish the many moments that are now memories that they shared with Terry. They will always remember his willingness to lend a helping hand and his “if he liked you – he loved you” attitude towards others. Terry had a strong work ethic and loved his work in the oilpatch. A man of strong opinions and values, he stood up for what he believed and always had the backs of those he loved – both family and friends. While Terry loved hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle and drag racing, his greatest passion in life was his family. A celebration of Terry’s life will take place Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 1:00 pm, in the MacKenzie Conference Centre, 5737 45 Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta. The family would like to express their gratitude to friends and family for all the love, support and donations that so helped with Terry’s battle with cancer. They also wish to say thank you to the Palliative Care Team, along with all the doctors and nurses, who took such good care of Terry at the Drayton Valley Hospital.
