It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Emry Eldon Turbuck. Emry was born in Sakatchewan, moving to Haida Gwaii, British Columbia with his father when he was sixteen years old, this was always home to Emry. His passion was always the outdoors, he was a skilled ocean fisherman and excellent cook. Driving truck for a living led Emry on numerous travelling adventures, making Blue Ridge, Alberta their home since 2006.
Emry leaves behind his devoted wife, Barbara Turbuck of forty-four years; beautiful children Kari-Anne (Craig) Delwisch,, Crystal Klein, Selene Turbuck; Tyrell Turbuck; wonderful grandchildren, Lauren, Erika, Camryn, Levi, Chase, Austin, Payton, Danica, Coltin, Kingston; siblings, Lorne (Rhonda) Turbuck and Joyce (Bill) Lefkovics.
The family would like to offer their sincere gratitude to the Staff at Mayerthorpe Healthcare Centre for the care and compassion shown to Emry and their family. Cremation has taken place, as per Emry’s request no service will be held.
