Obituary of Donna Angela Jane Bray

Donna Angela Jane Bray passed peacefully surrounded by those she loved Saturday, April 8, 2023, at her home in Whitecourt, Alberta, she was 67 years of age. Donna had a deep love for her family, her grandkids meant everything to her, she was always helping out in ways she could just so she could be with them. They all loved coming to see Grandma, upon arrival they would be greeted with treats. Donna found joy in gardening and took pleasure working in her flower beds. She sprouted love like flowers, grew a garden in her mind, and even on the toughest days, from her smile the sun still shined. Donna is survived by her devoted husband of fifty and a half years; Vernon, loving children; daughter, Jodie Bray and son, Brent (Melissa) Bray; seven wonderful grandchildren, Cassidy, Keagan, Hailey, Gracie, Cohen, Emerson, Caulder; siblings, Edna (Dennis) Witter, Jimmy (Sandra) Kallbom, Shena (Chuck) Romeo and sister-in-law Esther McCallum as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. Donna was predeceased by their son, Kenny Bray and parents, Donald and Margaret Kallbom. Cremation has taken place with a memorial to be held at a later date. Donna’s family wish to extend their great appreciation to Dr. Kulak, the nurses and staff at Whitecourt Healthcare Centre, Cross Cancer Institute and all the family and friends who came to help and offered their support. A special thanks goes out to Aimee and the Home Care staff for their care and compassion shown.
