Obituary of Christian Peter Tatarliov

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Christian Peter Tatarliov on March 17, 2023 at the age of 75 years. Chris had many joys in his life especially his family. If you knew Chris, you would know how much he enjoyed woodworking. Chris was a skilled craftsman, making an assortment of furniture, he took great pride in ensuring his two girls had something he had made; from a kitchen table to a grandfather clock. Chris also had a heart for animals and enjoyed music. You could often find Chris spending his time gardening or fishing with his grandkids, he was also the bartender of snacks. The grandkids were guaranteed some sort of snack concoction when spending time with grandpa. His words of wisdom are going to be missed but cherished forever. Chris will always be remembered by his loving wife, Mona; his two beautiful daughters, Connie McNabb (Kevin MacPhee), Cindy (Darius) Schmidt; grandchildren, Rayden Schmidt, Colton McNabb, Dylan Schmidt; step-grandchildren, Jace MacPhee, Jacob MacPhee; sister Carol Tkachuk as well as extended family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Frank and Margaret Tatarliov and sister Betty Primeau. A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Whitecourt Cemetery, Whitecourt, Alberta. The family would like to express a heart felt thank you to their family and friends for their care, compassion and overall support during this difficult time.
