Obituary of Larry Pearson

William Larry Pearson June 23 1939 – February 28, 2023 With tremendous sadness but hearts filled with lasting memories, the family of William Larry Pearson announce his passing on Monday, February 28, 2023. Known to his family and friends as Larry, he was a man’s man who loved pheasant hunting, flyfishing and sitting by a campfire with his family and friends. Larry will always be remembered for his work ethic and his passion to see his children succeed at all they did. He was a social butterfly who interacted with others with a non-judgmental spirit and a willingness to lend a hand to family and friends in need. Being a man who could not sit idle, Larry was always busy tinkering on one project or another. He loved restoring his Hot Rods and making old things become new. But beyond all these things, Larry’s greatest pride and passion was for his family – he especially loved times with his grandchildren and summer holidays spent with them was always a highlight. Left to cherish his life and love are Larry’s children, Holly (Bill) and Terry (Lisa); his grandchildren Tyler and Kaitlyn and his great grandchildren, Aiden and Ava. Larry was predeceased by his parents, William and Lulu Pearson. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the RCMP Members for their assistance on the night of February 28. They also say thank you to Affinity Funeral staff who helped support and serve them through this difficult journey. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you consider a donation in Larry’s name to either STARS or the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation. While no formal service will take place, a private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
