Obituary of Sharon Margaret Schutte

While surrounded by love, Mrs. Sharon Margaret Schutte passed away at Whitecourt Healthcare Centre on Friday, March 10, 2023 at the age of 76 years. Sharon was predeceased by her parents “Jim” Sydney and Marg Phillips, daughter Beverly Gail Dubina and soul sister Madge. She is survived by her devoted husband Wade Schutte, daughter Brenda Phillips, brother Darrell Phillips and her dear fur baby Kasey. A passion for curling brought Wade and Sharon together, sharing 47 years of never missing a Briar and attending five in person. If they weren’t curling you could find them fishing. Sharon always out fished Wade and she never let him forget it. She found contentment outdoors and always said camping was her happy spot. When the elements were too harsh to be outdoors, Sharon took enjoyment sewing indoors sewing anything and everything. Sharon was friendly, resilient with a desire to help others. Working for the Alberta Liquor Control Board as well as a private liquor store as Assistant Manager before retiring from Rexall as cashier. Sharon’s memory will live on in each and every heart she has touched. Sharon’s husband Wade would like to give a special word of thanks to the Whitecourt Healthcare Centre for the care and comfort Sharon received. Cremation has taken place, as per the families request no service will be held at this time.
