Obituary of Russell Lance Scollon

Please share a memory of Russell to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
We are sad to announce the sudden passing of Russell Lance Scollon at age 36 on March 6th, 2023. Lance was the loudest most loving person you could ever meet. Chances are if you are reading this obituary, you know exactly the kind of person he was. He was not capable of hiding any part of himself. Lance will always be remembered by his partner of seven years Dana Jensen; parents Gordon “Rusty” Scollon, Margaret “Joy” Freno; brothers Quentin and Anne Freno, Frances Freno; nephew Oliver Thorn. Lance was greeted by his paternal grandparents Gordon “Skully” and Helen Scollon along with his maternal grandparents Gordon and Selena Leader. The family would like to add a special thanks to Eddie Maxwell, Mara Hepp, Clea, Ethan and Emily Willberg, Elliot Riddle, Jesse Reynolds and Gavin Coman for their many years of friendship as well as the many other numerous friends he has had throughout the years. “Blessed are the weird people, the poets and misfits, the artists, the writers, the music, the makers, the dreamers and the outsiders for they force us to see the world differently.” – Unknown “Oh! And get your god damn reindeer off my roof!”
