Obituary of Steve Krawchuk

Steve Krawchuk January 07 1940 – February 16 2023 On February 16, 2023, Steve Krawchuk drew his last breath in this life and took his first celestial breath in his new life. Steve is lovingly remembered by his son, Devin of Edmonton and his sister Neda of Drayton Valley. Steve was always such a social person and made friends quickly and easily wherever he went. His friends will also cherish the moments that are now memories of their time spent with Steve. Steve really didn’t have a favorite place - his favorite place was wherever his family and friends were with him at the time. Steve had a stellar work ethic, a heart for his community and a love to dance and celebrate life with his family, colleagues and friends. Steve was honoured to serve the Drayton valley Community as an Auxiliary RCMP member for many years, and the friendships formed at the Drayton Detachment and beyond were a hallmark of Steve’s life. His boyish smile, the twinkle in his eyes and his spirit of encouragement and support will be greatly missed. Steve said a number of goodbyes in this life, as he was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Pearl Krawchuk along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family find comfort in knowing that the storms and pain of this life are now over for Steve, and he is in his glory socializing as he says hello to old friends and makes new friends. A celebration of Steve’s life will be held at 1:00pm, on Saturday, February 25, 2023, in the Affinity Funeral Service Chapel, 5001 45 Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta.
