It is with great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Wesley Ostrander of Whitecourt on February 15, at the age of 59 years.
Wes made a living for himself working in the oil and gas industry. Always with an eye towards the humorous side, Wes was known to joke around and had a kind heart. When he wasn’t working you could find him in the great outdoors. Wes was a gold prospecting enthusiast with adventures taking him all over Alberta, and into B.C. Wes loved nature and enjoyed gardening.
He will be remembered by his parents Don and Irene; siblings, Cathie, Murray, Lynn, Wade, Lyle, Duane, Dale, Beverly and Lisa along with his good friends Joe, Joanne, and George. Also, nieces, nephews, in-laws, other extended family, and friends. Wesley was predeceased by his brothers Paul and Randy. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Wes’s life will be held in the summer.
