Margaret Ella Case (née Lucas)
March 4, 1931 – January 30, 2023
Our dear mother Margaret Ella Case, nêe Lucas, of Whitecourt, Alberta (formerly of Flin Flon, Manitoba) passed away on January 30th, 2023 at the age of 91 years.
Mom was born in Swan River, Manitoba on March 4, 1931 and lived in Bellsite, Flin Flon, Manitoba and Whitecourt, Alberta. She was very loved and will be missed terribly. Margaret’s greatest joy was having her family near her and she was a favourite Aunty and Gramma and great-grandma (GG) to both her own family and lives she touched in the community. Over the years, she was active in her church and Christian Women’s Club and was cherished by many.
Margaret is survived by her children Earl (Barb), Doug (Lorraine), Diana (Roy), Shelagh-Ann (Dennis), Sherri-Lee (Kevin), her sister Irene, brother Irven, 12 grandchildren (James, Richard, Curtis, Reagan, Kristin, Nathan, Denny, Peter, Jeremy, Violet, Bryan, Loralei) and 27 great grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Stanley and youngest son Loren as well as her parents and 5 sisters and brothers.
There is a joyous reunion in Heaven!
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Affinity Funeral Service 4105 41st Avenue, Whitecourt. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Skyview Alliance Church, 112061 Twp Rd 591, Whitecourt.
