Obituary of Margaret Josephine Lawson

Margaret Josephine Lawson January 7, 1938 – January 23, 2023 On January 23, 2023, Margaret Josephine Lawson passed away peacefully at the age of 85 years. She is survived by her children, Catherine (Pat), Janet, Steven, and Mark; her grandchildren, Jamie (Caitlynn), Karla (Brad), Cheryl (Chris), Larry, Jennifer, Jacob, Zachary, and Bobbie-Lee (Greg); numerous great-grandchildren; her siblings, June, Shelia, Wade, and Gary. Margaret is predeceased by her husband, Joseph; her parents, Dorothy and Philias; and grandson John. Margaret loved flowers, some her favorites grew in her daughter Janet’s flowerbed, marigolds and petunias. Margaret enjoyed knitting, reading romance novels and curling in the ladies’ league in Lodgepole. She and her late husband Joseph loved to travel to Arizona where they would stay for the winter, they spent 27 years being snowbirds. Margaret was an on-the-go mom and grandma; she enjoyed family times when they would gather together. But Margaret’s true passion was being near water; at Perry Sound or out camping by the Brazeau Dam her feet would dangle in the waves. Margaret’s family would like to extend their heart felt thanks to Dr. Gossman, they appreciate the care and support you gave to their mom and grandma.
