Obituary of Peter John Doyle

Peter John Doyle September 29, 1962– January 7, 2023 We are filled with sorrow as we announce the passing of Peter Doyle in the comfort of his home in Drayton Valley on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the age of 60 years. Peter enjoyed spending most of his time outdoors. When time allowed, he relished spending time with his family camping, hiking in the mountains, 4x4ing in his truck, and hunting for rocks. Peter was truly a family man and all things done with family was his paradise, and as a grandpa he found so much joy in loving and spoiling his five very much-loved grandchildren. For the past 36 years Peter has worked for Weyerhaeuser, operating heavy equipment in the lumberyard. Peter will be greatly missed. Peter will forever be lovingly remembered by his children, Sean (Sky), Aric, and Kristian; grandchildren, Salaya, Toran, Silver, Nova, and Mana; parents, Jean and John Doyle; siblings, Yvonne (Terry) Halldorson, Shelagh (Dale) Runge, and Chris Doyle, as well as by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Peter was predeceased by his son Kyle. For those who wish to pay their respects, a time of visitation will be held at Affinity Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services for Mr. Peter Doyle will be held at Affinity Funeral Chapel on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. For those who so desire, memorial contributions in Peter’s name may be made directly to STARS.
