Brian Noad was one of my most influential coaches and friend that I have ever had. Along with his brother Paul, they both positively influenced and helped shape me in becoming a man. My condolences to his family. May he rest in Peace

Brian Noad played lacrosse, a defence man, many years ago in Markham, Ontario. I was his coach at the time. We lost track of each other over the years until a few months ago the magic of the web provided all of the players on that team an opportunity to speak to one another again . . . and it has been glorious.
Brian was a winner, outstanding in his position and for his team. His most untimely passing is an immeasurable loss to all of the young people he has provided guidance through his life.
Our most sincere condolences to his family.

Last time I saw Brian was on the ice playing Jr B in Markham arena 1978-79 against him. I played the previous season and a half with him in Markham and got to know Knoadies well. Great guy. Big infectious smile. He speared me with a minute left in the game and the gloves were off and that’s how the bench clearing incident started. Save a place on the bench for me up there Noads. We still have unfinished busy. Miss you my hockey brother.

I worked with Brian, a few different times, many years ago.
He was always positive, a smile on his face and joking no matter what was happening. A great friend.
My sincere condolences to the family. He will be missed.
RIP Noadie, I’ll miss our talks and reminiscing.❤️

My heartfelt condolences to Brian’s family and close friends. Brian and I were teammates on the MDHS highschool track team for a time. The pic is from 1976-7. My memories of Brian are mostly from that time, and though we connected a few times as adults, we stayed in touch mostly through Facebook. I am impressed with Brian‘s beautiful children and his accomplishments in the hockey world. He certainly had a big heart. Gone too young, RIP, Brian.
