Obituary of "Vena" Marie Evelyn Vina Johanson

Marie Evelyn Vina “Vena Johanson” February 5, 1935 – November 15, 2022 We are heartbroken to announce the passing of a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Vena Johanson passed away on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre surrounded by the love of her family. Vena will forever be lovingly remembered by her husband, Garry Johanson; children, Geraldine (Larry), Sophie (Lloyd), Dale (Nadine), Wanda and Roxane (Wayne); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and sister, Delia Duperron. Vena was predeceased by her daughter, Naomi; parents, Albert and Rosalie and eight siblings. Vena’s life will be celebrated in late Spring of 2023. Vena’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and support staff at Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute and Drayton Valley Palliative Care for the compassionate and loving care provided during Vena’s illness.
