Obituary of Warner Paul Sheehan

Please share a memory of Warner to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Warner Paul Sheehan July 2, 1940 – November 2, 2022 Loving husband, father, grandfather and brother Warner Paul Sheehan entered fully into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, November 2, 2022 at the age of 82 years. Warner’s family meant everything to him and was his greatest passion in life. He would often help with any projects they tackled together. It wasn’t in the helping for Warner, but rather the time he spent with his family. He provided for his family throughout the years working as a service technician for Alberta Government Telephones and Telus, retiring at the age of 54 years. Warner had a passion for hunting and proudly filled the freezer every year. He also enjoyed gardening, yard work and keeping the driveway clear of snow, he loved to keep busy. Warner was a gifted man with many talents. If he didn’t know how to do something, he had the determination to make sure he learnt how to do it, and he would learn to do it properly. Warner was also a jack of all trade’s handyman. He was full of intelligence, determination and was a man of integrity. He was a no-nonsense type of a man; if it wasn’t broken there was no need to fix it, and if it was, fix it right the first time. Warner accepted Christ as his personal saviour in 2015, in his own words he was a changed man. It was as though a veil had been lifted from his eyes. He could understand everything clearly and the world was Gods creation, colors were so vibrant and beautiful. It brings comfort to know he is at eternal rest with his heavenly Father. Warner is survived by his devoted wife Klara of 57 years; children, Duana (Doug) Woyen, Jodie (Tim) Seivewright; four grandchildren, Hayden (Sarah), Chynna-Dawn, Jayda-Lane (Jonathon), Gage (Jennae); 1 great grandson Blu Ezra and sister Geneva McLean. He will also be remembered by extended family and dear friends. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Whitecourt Family Worship Centre with pastor Dallas Bidell officiating. Interment will follow at the Whitecourt Cemetery. Warner’s family would like to send their heartfelt thank you to Dr. Joseph Ojedokun, Whitecourt Healthcare Centre nurses and staff, Homecare as well and friends and family for their loving comfort and prayers throughout this difficult time.
