Obituary of Dorothy Margaret Paynton

Dorothy Margaret (Peggy) Paynton July 29, 1931 – October 24, 2022 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Peggy Paynton, a beloved Mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister, and friend, on October 24, 2022, at the age of 91 years. Peggy could be found in her garden and flowerbeds around her home, pulling the weeds and admiring the beauty around her. The outdoors was her place of tranquility and calmness in the bustle of her days. Peggy enjoyed traveling to different places to see the artistry of the scenery and colors in nature. Peggy loved to bake cookies, and she put extra love and care into the ones she baked for her special grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Peggy will forever be remembered and missed by her son, Lance (Barbara) Paynton; grandchildren, Joel (Crystal), Lisa (Rick), and Kurt (Tania); great-grandchildren, Bryce, Cale, Katelyn, and Liam. Peggy will also be cherished by her sister, Delores Hobbs. Peggy was predeceased by her husband Harold; sister Jean Pickering; brother Herbert Hare and her parents, Margaret, and Francis Hare. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to all who helped Peggy and her family through the final days of her life and the continued support given to the family.
