Obituary of Robert Charles Marshall

Robert (Bob) Charles Marshall January 10, 1955 – October 17, 2022 It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved dad, grandpa, uncle, friend, and neighbor Bob Charles Marshall on October 17, 2022, at the age of 67 years. Bob loved the outdoors, fresh air, nature, and the serene peace of a great bonfire with family and friends. One would likely find Bob toiling in the garden most days, tending to the weeds and the watering. He enjoyed working with his hands in woodworking and was working on an oak closet and dresser with his son Scott. But Bob’s greatest passion in life was the time he spent with his family. All their special moments are now memories, but his character and spirit will live on in the sharing of those memories and stories. Bob will forever be remembered and missed by his son Scott (Teresa) Marshall and daughter Karianne (Ryan) Strocher; grandchildren Elena, Pierce, Linnea, Megan, and Travis and his sister Wanda. Bob will also be celebrated in the lives of his numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. Bob was predeceased by his parents Mabel and Albert Marshall, along with his siblings Carol, Ed, Verda, Garry, and Donna. A celebration of Bob’s life will take place October 31, 2022, at 11:00 am, at the Mackenzie Conference Centre, 5357 45 Avenue, Drayton valley, Alberta. The family wishes to express thanks to PJ Swales, Affinity Funeral Service, ABC Catering, and Valley House of Flowers for all their support and direction to the family during this difficult time.
