Obituary of Robert Gregory Hodgson

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Rob Hodgson. He was one of the hardest working men out there. He chose the logging industry at a young age, hand falling, skidder and eventually hauling logs (KrisAlex) truck driving, gravel hauling and oilfield hauling. When Rob wasn’t at work he loved to spend every chance he could with his family. If you could get past the bluntness, you would see his heart. He loved to laugh, tell jokes and was the life of the party. He was a tell it like it is, do it or don’t kind of man. Full of wisdom from so many life lessons, that will never be forgotten. “Work hard for what you have, have pride in what you do, Family is number 1, and Pride is number 2.” He will be greatly missed and remembered by Judy Hodgson, Kristie Hodgson & Marc Chartrand(daughter) Alex Hodgson & Vanessa Keough (grandson) Beverly Jones (sister). He is predeceased by husband Clifford Jones, Harry Jones & Dianne (nephew), Stacey Jones(niece), Tiffany Woodward & Leigh Street, David Woodward & Lisa McLaughlin. A special thank you to Amanda Lyon for all her time and effort. As per Rob’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later time.
