Obituary of Sharon Lyn Lucas

It comes with sadness to announce Sharon Lucas’s passing October 15, 2022, at the Swan Hills Health Centre at 77 years of age. Sharon was born in Edmonton, Alberta on February 8, 1945, and would become the only daughter out of 3 sons. She lived in Edmonton most of her life, Sharon was fun, loved by many and replicated all the loved shown to her by family and friends. Sharon loved her grandchildren and family deeply; they gave her the special name of Mamac. Sharon enjoyed watching sports especially her son Todd and all the other sons, attending every tourney cheering everyone on. Known as being mom of the neighbourhood, you would often find her crafting, baking and treated the neighborhood kids like her own. Sharon is survived by her children, Todd (Anessa) Lucas, Joanne (Gene) Cazes; four grandchildren, Tom, Troy, Teagan, Aleighsha; siblings, Paul (Wendy) McCormack, Andrew (Bernadette) McCormack, Gregory McCormack. She will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Sharon was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Elvina McCormack. A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at a later time.
