Obituary of Bryan Edward Ashberry

Bryan Edward Ashberry April 01, 1951 – September 10, 2022 It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Bryan Ashberry at the Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre on September 10, 2022, at the age of 71 years. Bryan will be remembered always by his wife of 40 years, Gailene and his children, Jonathan, Branden (Julie), Kyle (Shelby) and step-son, Scott (Laura). He will also be in the hearts of his grandchildren Aubrielle and Emily, along with his three sisters, Susan, Maggie and Nancy. Bryan was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Joyce Ashberry as well as his brothers, Laurence and Rick. While treasuring many moments that are now memories and thinking of all the stories of his life, the family will always reflect upon Bryan’s love for life and those in his life. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all those who have been, and will continue to be there for Gailene. They are also so grateful for the staff at Drayton Valley Continuing Care who loved and supported Bryan during his 4 years of residency there. The family also extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Neuro ICU at the University of Alberta Hospital.
