Obituary of Sheila Pacholka

Sheila Pacholka March 21, 1972 – July 15, 2022 It is with the most profound sadness that we announce that on the afternoon of Friday, July 15, 2022, surrounded by her loving family and closest friends, Sheila Gene Pacholka passed away following a 20-month long fight against cancer, which she fought with absolute courage and fierce determination. Sheila had a beautiful ability to bring family and friends together; whether it was a family reunion, pig roast, a birthday celebration or a special holiday, Sheila loved to entertain and make lasting memories. Her soft and gentle nature secured the hearts and trust of many children during her time as a school bus driver and volunteering at the ski hill; to see a child’s face light up with smiles and laughter brought her the greatest joy. Her heart was full of love. Sheila will forever be lovingly remembered by her husband of 30 years, Raymond; children, Tyler and Amanda; parents, Eugene (Bernie) and Sylvia; siblings, Shelly (Rod), Chris (Meagan), Eugene Jr. (Angela), Krystal Rose (Glen), Jenny, Jason (Erin), Karen (Arup) and Craig, as well as by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other extended family. Sheila is predeceased by her brothers, Kirk and Tim. The family would like to thank friends, Marilyn and Val; nurse, Cindy and EMS for being there to console and provide comfort to Sheila and her family. A Celebration of Sheila’s Life will be held at the MacKenzie Conference Centre, 5737 45 Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Brian Glubish officiating.
