Obituary of William "Bill" Verden Adair

William “Bill” Adair March 16, 1927 – July 13, 2022 On Wednesday, July 13, 2022, Mr. William “Bill” Adair, long-time resident of Breton, Alberta passed away at WestView Hospital Centre, Stony Plain, Alberta at the age of 95 years. Bill was a loving, generous and charismatic man. Throughout his career in networking he was privileged to meet many people and have an abundance of friends. He enjoyed travelling, especially to Las Vegas where he could do a little bidding and try his hand at the poker table. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Tessie; children, Dan Adair, Kathy (Lorne) Lee and Linda (Bob) Williams; grandchildren, Melissa (Grant) Leslie, Daniel (Desiree) Adair, Jamie (Glenda) Adair, Georgina Lee (Jason Johannesson), Jennifer Biette, Rachel (Cordell) Skinner, Micheal (Nadine) Williams, Michelle (Conrad) Antle and Robert Williams (Nicole Franks); 40 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Bill is predeceased by his parents, Edith and William Adair; son, Sammy Adair; grandson, Robin Adair; his first wife and the mother of their children, Helen “Tonie” Adair; his second wife, Nilda Adair; as well as by his sister Hazel and her husband, Ken Plunkie. Bill’s life will be celebrated at the Affinity Funeral Service Chapel, 5001 45 Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Breton Cemetery. Bill’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Doctors and the entire staff at Stony Plain Hospital, Bayshore Health Care and Comfort Keepers for the amazing care provided. A special thank you to Josephine, Connie and Meriam for going above and beyond for Dad and Tessie.
