Obituary of Loren Albert Regnier

Loren Albert Regnier November 28, 1952 – June 13, 2022 It is with great pain and sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Loren Regnier. Loren passed of a heart attack at the Leduc Community Hospital at the age of 69 years. Loren had an incredible gift of seeing the good in others and was a friend to many, accepting of all. He was warm, had great wit, and was an incredible sportsman and coach. Loren loved all kinds of music, and the outdoors and always brought a laugh and a good time. He greatly loved and respected his wife, children and grandchildren. He will forever be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife of 46 years, Debbie; children Tim (Mandy), Marcie (Caleb) Evans, Kathryn (Nathan) Rayner and Christine Frost; grandchildren, Isaiah, Lucien, Jane, Lola, Charlie, Chloe, Turner, Sophie, Henry, John and Benjamin; as well as by many extended family, colleagues, friends and those whose lives were positively affected by his presence. Loren is predeceased by his son, David (2018); his parents, Lucien and Tena Regnier; in-laws, John and Doris Reid, and his sister-in-law, Cheryl (1979). For those who wish to pay their respects, a Viewing will be held at Affinity Funeral Service, 5001 45 Avenue, Drayton Valley, on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. Loren’s life will be celebrated at the MacKenzie Conference Centre, 5737 45 Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta on Monday, June 20, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., with Dwayne Henley officiating.
