Obituary of Amanda Clarinda Poole

Amanda Clarinda Poole August 24, 1967 – June 4, 2022 It is with profound sadness that the family of Amanda Clarinda Poole announces her passing on June 4, 2022, at the age of 54 years, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Amanda enjoyed spending time with her family above everything else. Creating lasting memories with her grandchildren, taking them camping, and sharing her love for the Montreal Canadiens hockey team with them will be cherished forever. Amanda will be dearly missed by her husband Allan Poole, daughters Jamie Poole (Paul) and Jessica Poole (George), grandchildren Jaylynn, Jayla, Jayson and Jayden as well as siblings Mary (Joseph), Shirley (Brad), Jeremy (Vicki) and Basil. Also left to remember Amanda is her mother-in-law, Olive Poole, brothers-in-law George (Joyce), Clayton (Joan), John (Terri), sisters-in-law Kathleen (George), Bessie (Junior), Marie (Wayne), Roberta (Bruce) and Elizabeth (Greg), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and all the friends Amanda made throughout her life. Amanda is now reunited in the Lords embrace with her parents, John and Rita Snook, brother Johnny, sisters-in-law Lisa, Anne and Andrea, as well as father-in-law Henry Poole. As per Amanda’s wishes, interment of the ashes will take place in Newfoundland with no services being held at this time. Amanda’s family would like to express gratitude to Dr. Aneke as well as all the Doctors, Nurses and Healthcare Staff at the Whitecourt Healthcare Centre for all the care and compassion that has been shown to the family throughout these difficult times.
