Obituary of Andre Joachom von Stein

Andre Joachom von Stein April 4, 1977 – May 14, 2022 It is with sadness that the family of Andre Joachom von Stein announces his sudden passing on May 14, 2022, in Whitecourt, Alberta at the age of 45 years. When Andre had the free time, he loved to enjoy it by golfing, fishing and woodworking. Andre had a great love for his family, especially his wife and children. They were his greatest gift. He was always the one to make everyone laugh, which led him to be known as a “goofball” by those closest to him. Andre is survived by his wife, Danean and their two children, Madison and Dawson, his mother Stephanie (Fred) Dwyer, older brother Ken Gray, nieces Chevon, Katerina, nephew Declan Porsnuk, sister-in-law Lisa (Scott) Wagner, their sons Shae and Ethan, as well as Daneans’ parents, Ray and Lois Cartwright. Andre is predeceased by his father Andre von Stein Sr., older sister Tina Porsnuk, as well as both his maternal and paternal grandparents. Andres’ family would like to give their heartfelt thank you to the Whitecourt RCMP, First Responders, Victim Services as well as the gentleman who was there with him during his passing, for all their care and support. As per Andre’s wishes, there will be no services held. If friends and family so desire, memorial contributions may be made directly to the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital.
