Obituary of Keeryn MacLaren Cox

Please share a memory of Keeryn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Keeryn Maclaren Cox announces his passing on April 28, 2022. Keeryn will be forever loved and cherished by his parents, Landen and Krista, his brother Ayden (12), and his sister Nevaeh (5). Grandparents Darcy Olson (Chris), Gail and Bob Dow, Rob and Deb Cox. Great Grandparents Donna and Arnold Olson, Ken and Elaine Hanson, Betty Laughlin, Herb and Phylis Dow, & Barbara Cox. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and close family friends. Keeryn was predeceased by cousin Angela Purdy, Great Grandfather Fred Cox, and close family friends Maegan Waltz (Clemmer), and Troy Baker. Keeryn was an old soul, and had a passion for the western way of life. His favourite place was the outdoors, in the farmyard, and around the cows. He was the first to offer a helping hand, and always had a smile on his face. Keeryn touched the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him, and his outgoing and kind personality had an impact on us all. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 9th at 1pm at the Mackenzie Conference Centre in Drayton Valley, AB. As tribute to Keeryn, please feel free to wear western attire and cowboy hats. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stollery Hospital, STARS Air Ambulance or the Drayton Valley Pro Rodeo.
